Random Articles! :)

Just Call Me Ruth

This is an article by Sister Ruth Renlund, written years ago when her husband, Dale, the newest Apostle, was serving in South Africa. This is a great insight into her life and some interesting facts about her.

An Interview With Sam Cloud

A Church-produced video that recently took first prize in a film contest--or something like that! :)) It is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!

MEMORIES: Sights, Smells, Sounds, Tastes

This article is by the beloved MEE! I will now proceed to be a copycat (except mine isn't limited to 4 categories + in no particular order + many of these are from times spent at Grandma's house because where are the best memories made??? + there are a million and one other things I could add!)...

The chill of Grandma’s basement that always would (and still does!!!!) immediately make you need to use the bathroom; the soft sound of the Little Cottonwood River running through her neighborhood we’d wade in, swing over, and splash at each other; the sound of a scooter going ‘super-fast’ over cracks in the sidewalk as we raced around the block; the buzzing of mosquitoes in my ear as I tossed the football with my brother; the whir of the copier as we copied our various school assignments, the RRRIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG of the alarm clock that woke me up in the dark hours of the unearthly thing called early morning – leaving my heart pumping for at least five minutes! – the ‘song’ our washing machine sang, sometimes in the middle of the night, as it finished its load; the creaking of Mom’s desk chair; the coolness of the tiled bathroom floor at Grandma's when you got up in the middle of the night or when you got out of the bathtub; the sound of her hair dryer early in the mornings; the smell of homemade bread or pizza; the theme songs of the only TV shows we ever watch (Granite Flats and Studio C)–the list could go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very random, I know. Please feel free to use the Contact Form in the sidebar or comment to let me know what you think!!!!!!!
