On August 1st, the Church announced the Mutual theme for 2017! I am SO excited about this theme - and I think you will be too!!!!! The scripture is James 1:5-6. Sound familiar??? It should. If that's not ringing a bell, let me give you the full text:
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
You probably recognize it by now as the scripture that Joseph Smith read and was inspired by. That inspiration led to the First Vision and eventually the Restoration of the Gospel of Christ!!!!!!!! What a wonderful theme for the youth, who are now very close to the same age as Joseph was when he read this scripture! :)
